Kenners came home from school today with a new word up her sleeve. She bounded into the door and called out, "Mom! Do you know how to spell 'metamorphosis'?" Gratefully I not only know how to spell this word but I also know what it means! This is definitely a step in the right direction. (For those of you who may not remember, Kenners last word was "metacognition"). Yikes!
As for Rand...she has started our state's Mastery Test and is pretty psyched that the only homework she has all week is reading. No spelling test this week. No multiplication tables to study. Etc., etc. Just reading. Sigh.....life is good.
