I am slowly but surely getting the house decorated for Christmas.
I just love the idea of Rhoda's Christmas Vignette party...I can show just a small snapshot of the changes that are occurring daily in my home!
I have had this garden angel forever. The moment I saw him I knew he belonged to me. He's usually on top of a tall cupboard watching over my family's daily activities but I took him down the other day and set him in the kitchen.
The pine boughs are leftover clippings from my mantel garland with a gold and silver glass ornament peeking out.
Simple. Joyful.

Oh my gosh, I am LOVING these pictures! I should do the same thing. This is the first year I've actually enjoyed my Christmas decor. Why? Because of YOU. :) You gave me permission to NOT use red this year, and I'm so happy about it. Nothing fancy, but just lighter. I am no pro like you and so many are, but maybe I'll take a picture and post it on my blog. We shall see. :)
